The Apprentice: a slow, agonising exit

This week's episode of The Apprentice was like watching a car-crash in slow motion. It felt like, within seconds of the task beginning, the eventual firee's fate was sealed. But if you haven't seen the show yet, and you don't want to know the outcome... look away now.
Maybe it was the moment he ordered everyone to relax. Or the moment he said he hated the group's swearing, having done so himself in the previous breath. Or the moment he told the group their ideas were all rubbish, so here's one he prepared earlier. But I was convinced from the word 'go' that Rory - or was it Terry Hall from The Specials? - was on his way out. As project manager, he knew he would be 'up for eviction' if his team lost - and no way were his teammates going to stick up for him in front of Sir Alan, having been treated like that. All that could save him was success in the task.
But success was to prove elusive. You're pitching to three potential clients for your dog-related product - Client One has one posh boutique, Client Two has one even posher department store, and Client Three is a nationwide chain of over 100 megastores. With victory going purely on the total profit from your first batch of orders (if any), where would you concentrate your efforts?
Even a boardroom suicide by martial artist Ifti wasn't enough to save Rory. Still, if it's any consolation, I can't imagine his nemesis Tre lasting much longer. Although he does talk some sense - mind you, when you talk as much as he seems to, some of it must be sensible! - he's rubbing too many people up the wrong way. And please, can we lose Jadine quickly; her idea of brand extension is going to end in tears.
What did you think of tonight's episode? Did Rory deserve to go? Spotted a winner yet? Share your thoughts using the comments...

They both had to go, but how on earth did either of them get on the show to start with. Its still the best programme on tv.

Where did Rory learn his business skills? Already a bankrupt he was on the slope to another from the moment he ordered his team to remove their jackets, I cringed with his colleagues.
More worrying is the number of so called managers I have come across who mirror his attitude - imagine someone like that in say the Home Office or running the rail networks...........
