Friday funnies - a text message novel, Dilbert

Posted 2 February 2007 at 11:15AM by Martin Faux in Light relief

Finnish author Hannu Luntiala has just published The Last Messages, a 332-page novel about a Finnish IT-executive who resigns from his job, goes travelling and keeps in touch with friends and relatives via text message.

The novel is based on his text messages (approximately 1,000) and contains all the abbreviations and grammar errors you'd expect in them! I'm glad I don't speak Finnish as I have trouble understanding English texts as it is.

A necessary dose of Dilbert:

And... the perfect depiction of a web usability expert.
