BT eSignature gets even cheaper!

It's been about 9 months since I wrote about the launch of BT eSignature, our online service that delivers legally binding electronic signatures, instantly.

Well, since then we've had thousands of customers sign-up to the service and it's not only being used for contract signatures. Here are few examples of how it's being used:

- To confirm order details and deliveries
- To get approvals for designs and artwork
- To accept terms and conditions
- To beat postal strikes!!

Based on the feedback we received both from the customers using the service and from comments left against our last article about this service, we've decided to cut the cost of BT eSignature even further.

So, BT eSignature Pro (for single users) will now cost just £5.99 per month (ex VAT) and BT eSignature Team will now cost from £50 per month for 5 or more users (ex VAT).

We've also introduced some new features to BT eSignature Team :

- Account Management - Manage your BT eSignature with our self-service feature - customise document and signature settings, upload your company logo, and add or disable users.
- Sequential Signatures - BT eSignature now supports routing a document for up to six signatures. Simply enter the email addresses of the people you want to sign in the "To" line and we'll take care of the rest!
- Interactive Forms - Quickly create an interactive form (e.g. survey) with BT eSignature, email it for signature and export the collected information to Microsoft Excel for analysis.  In a few clicks you can have your employees or customers signing forms immediately.

Yesterday, I spent over 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer the BT 0800 number for assistance. Yes, we know the company is busy with enquiries, but why doesn't it employ more staff?

Small businesses are now seeing the credit crunch beginning to bite.

Your Fax service is also far too expensive for the small trader.

kim - ISP is NOT = public service.
if you are paying for your broadband then that is it . no company is obliged to provide you extra free service. In business there is no free lunch .
All BT is doing is providing all business tools in one place. If you need it - take it ; if you don't - shut up and go elsewere.

James Lyon - comments are much in context.Pricing is a relative term. Fax service too expensive? try other service and see if they are as good or better before you crib about BT.We would love to hear information about other services here.

Hey James@1 - employ more people ? of course ! how many more ? 20 ? 30 ? 100 ? a 1000 ?

who will pay for these extra staff ? not you surely ;going by the blogs here.

Subsidy and handouts are scarce now. stop cribbing and blog constructively folks.

btbroadband is pretty expensive when compared with most other deals around, so it would be nice if you threw in some of these extras, or maybe gave a discount off the price for your isp customers.

Anyways, if BT is expensive then there are other choice. It's a free market so we should shop around.

I don't like a lot of things about BT and apart from the phone I don't use anything thats BT because either I have found a cheaper alternate or don't need the service.

I have seen my friends who crib about BT and when they know it is not a BT fault. They face more issues with microsoft or dell but no one cribs about them -simply because they do not expect individual support from them.
James-Of course BT is a big company .If it was a profits-only company BT could have saved money by chucking the public phone boxes into the sea. 10 rings and out ? I am no expert on queue management but then if the same rule applies to your company would that mean you would answer in what ? zero rings ?
Agree with Tanvir , may be BT or any service provider should have one to one ratio for answering calls.
yes BT makes profits - to be precise £6 billion before tax this quarter ; but most of which was coming from its global operations and not UK.
Can you connect the dots now ?

On one occasion I was asked where I heard about it and could I send the BT representative the link?!! After forwarding the link I was then advised to just follow the online training guide because that's as much as they knew themselves?!!

i think the trouble is that bt is really trying to do too much and be all things to all men. they are forgetting to concentrate on their core products and offering so many diverse things how can they possibly get it all right.
often the diverse things seem pretty off beat - there cant be a huge take up for all of them and how can staff possibly know about all these products and where to direct enquiries.
you even have two or three different isp companies - seemingly in competition with yourselves
they need to get back to basics before they loose the plot, look what happened to m&s
