Business tricks come and go, but a revelation from Dan Ackerman Greenberg, co-founder of viral video marketing group The Comotion Group, seems set to get everyone talking about viral marketing.
In his blog post he described the methods his business uses to get at least 100,000 views. But were his methods actually ethical? In his post Dan claimed one way to get noticed is through reaching out to anyone and everyone, from Facebook to Forums to email lists. But can this favoured method actually be considered spamming. In his eyes, it's not, all viewers are able and willing to see his new creations and actually sign up to see his latest marketing tactics.
But as the dawn of a new digital era breaks, will viral marketing stand the true test of time? Well the professionals seem to think so.
Have a great viral for your company? Why not share it with the Business blog community.
