US officials are seizing laptops!

According to an article I read in ITPro, it looks like travellers to the US could have their laptops and other mobile devices confiscated when entering the country.
What's more the article explains that due to a ruling made in San Francisco in the summer, both customs and immigration officials now have powers allowing them to carry out detailed scans of laptop hard drives, which raises the question over the security of your sensitive business information.
Why am I mentioning this?
Firstly I wasn't aware of it and so if your business takes you over seas, it's worth knowing.
Secondly we have an internet product, Remote Access Pack, which allows you to connect securely to your office P.C from anywhere in the world, which could help solve this problem for you. No need to take your laptop with you, as you can get access to your email and sensitive business files remotely.
So if you're planning a trip abroad, why not check this product out first. You can even have a 30 day free trial!

Thanks for your comment Mike. Our remote access product is a premium business-grade service with advanced features such as file transfer and remote printing. As with many paid-for services such as this, there are always free alternatives which often have limited functionality and support. The 30 day free trial of Remote Access Pack is available for businesses to try-out the advanced features for themselves at no cost.
