Ultimate tool for eBay addicts

Posted 9 July 2007 at 8:23AM by Simon Dickson in Doing business online

Growing numbers of people are building businesses on eBay - or certainly, spending their hard-earned profits there. If you're one of them, it's well worth having a look at the new official Firefox Companion for eBay, which puts all the eBay auction tools you could want at your disposal. I particularly like the way it offers two different levels of alerts: a popup in the bottom corner of the screen when someone outbids you, or when a watched item is about to sell, and a subtle 'glowing' eBay logo when something less urgent happens. The increasing 'refresh rate', as deadline time approaches, is another nice touch. Another compelling reason to switch to Firefox, in my book.
