The business card for 'moo-vers and shakers'

If you're trying to make a career in the world of 'web 2.0', it seems there's only one business card to have: a Moo card. The London-based firm describes itself as 'a new kind of printing business', specialising in tools which 'help people turn their virtual content into beautiful print products'.
In practice, this means 'MiniCards' - roughly half the size of a normal business card, with a few lines of text on one side, and something pretty on the back. They burst on to the scene in September last year, offering free trial packs to all paying members of the Flickr photo-sharing site. Your favourite photos on one side, your contact details (or any other text) on the other. Further tie-ups followed with other big names in the online world, including Bebo, Skype and Second Life. More recently, they've been offering 10-card sample packs to users of the LiveJournal and Vox blogging platforms.
Suddenly it seems you can't meet a blogger or an entrepreneur who isn't armed with Moo cards. The price - £9.99 for 100, plus a flat rate of £2.99 for shipping worldwide - compares very favourably with conventional business card printing. It's great being able to let your creative juices flow, with the Moo website being especially easy to use. You can use any imagery you like, the only catch being the difficulty in finding something which works really well in the card's rather narrow proportions. And they certainly mark you out as 'one of the cool kids' - although perhaps not quite as cool as those with stainless steel cards.

That's a great point Tim... there is a minimum order quantity of 100, but you can have lots of different designs making up that 100. A unique business card for each (potential) customer? Now that's targeting!
