Happy New Year. A few interesting stories I have found in the news today after the long weekend include:
- Leveling the playing field with SEO - Despite paid search results appearing at the top of a list of search engine results, small businesses can still get their web pages found easily if SEO is done correctly.
- Web users driving change in 2007 - Predictions for emerging Internet trends in 2007 include: more personalisation features for websites, new ways to buy computer programs and new uses of mobile phones with cameras.
- 2007: Keeping ahead of the hackers - The Internet is set to overtake email as the largest breeding ground for malware programs that grab personal details.
