Yesterday I visited Ipswich to discuss customer feedback with the team that manages the development of BT broadband office.
After a 4 hour journey I finally arrived at their office, having spent 3 hours in the largest car park in the world, the M25.
As I prepared to return home, one of the development team brought up TrafficMap, which is run by the Highways Agency.
Covering England, the website highlights traffic incidents, poor weather, speed restrictions, scheduled road works and much more. Very impressive.
It reported no incidents for my return trip, and I arrived home only an hour and a half later. Definitely worth bookmarking for use before a long journey.
