Get broadband, get happy

Four out of five British small business owners reckon their broadband connection has helped them find a better work-life balance, according to a new study by BT Business.
The desire for a happier working life was one of the main reasons why small business owners had started their companies - and was the primary motivation for respondents in the Midlands, North West England, Northern Ireland, South East and South West England. More than 95% of those interviewed had broadband at home, giving them freedom to work away from the office, and break away from the traditional 9-5 as desired or required. But a majority said they felt they could still strike a better balance.
