The search is on for the UK's most innovative and dynamic start-up businesses - but you'd better be quick.
HSBC Start-Up Stars claims to be the country's premier business awards, and has the backing of the Daily Express and Sky News. They're looking for companies in their first three years of trading who can prove they have 'the determination, dedication, creativity and business acumen for success.'
This is the competition's seventh year, but the closing date is only a couple of days away. Entries must be in by 13 April, if you want a slice of the £85,000 prize fund, and the national and local media coverage which will follow. This year introduces a 'Green' award for companies addressing the issues of climate change, with a special £5,000 cash prize on offer. There are regional finals during the summer, with the national awards ceremony scheduled for October.
You can pick up an entry form from your local HSBC branch, or fill in the online version. If you're wondering whether this is for you, you can measure against previous winners.
