Free wi-fi makes business travel bearable

Flying around the world on business is never much fun, so now British Airways are upping their technology facilities at airports across the UK to ease you along the way.
Forget the current crisis at Heathrow's Terminal 5, travellers flying with either BA or other Oneworld alliance airlines can look forward to free wireless broadband in 25 UK airport lounges thanks to BT Openzone. But will these facilities be a good addition to life within the airport or will businesses pay the price with the cost of the ticket?
The new service will be available from 1 April with the final facility due to be finished by 2011. But as businesses find alternative ways to get from A to B, including the new Eurostar link across the channel, should these wi-fi areas be the future of business travel and if so what does this mean for your staff and your customers?

Thanks for the tip John Mc.
I dont fly much but when I do you will find me just outside that lounge using that signal.
Dont think the authorities can do much or call it "illegal leeching" could they?

Will fingerprints be required before one can use the free wifi service?

I suppose it gives you something to do whilst trapped in the hell that is Heathrow.
As to W Smiths comment just remember we're watching you.

I suppose it's inevitable that we will be snooped on by the government, the question forcing itself into my head is why fingerprint to fly?
Is it:
a) This is the most rhobust way of identifying one person from another?b) A close eye is already kept on international passengers so this is just another step?
or c) The Met have this computer right, and every time a flight risk or wanted criminal tries to use BA to fly out of heathrow they'll be flagged up, and I guess having everybody's fingerprint coming in and out of Heathrow can't be bad for London's finest...can it?
I assume it must be the latter or they could do it without putting our life on a hard disk. Supossing Big Brother and the Inner Party haven't thought of that I've just sentanced the UK to Four More Years of War is Peace, Ignorance is Strength and Slaverey is Freedom. Ah well.
Bit off topic though, am I not?
Well Free Wi-Fi two thumbs up, totalitarian governments two thumbs down.
