Thanks to everyone that responded to my last post requesting views on what you want us to write about.
There have been some interesting responses, which highlights the fact that there's still a continued requirement for useful business information.
Whilst we continue to bring you snippets of interesting information, we've now created 'The BT business blog' community over at BT Tradespace communities" for you to share hints, tips and advice with each other.
It's easy to get started. All you have to do is register, create your individual profile, then tell us about yourself and your interests. It's that simple!
Once you're a member, the interests you list will be used to recommend other communities, events and contacts.
So, join our Business blog community now.

Vincent, i dont think its fair to single out James, others seem just as clueless on running a business here.
afterall, BT is a company reknown for how it gives out information to build your business, just like Microsoft give me great recepies for chicken and Sony helped me with a bad injury to my ankle.

At last, I seem to have woken up a few people - Small companies consist of about 2 to 5 employees in the Uk. There are many, many more small companies than large ones and they need all the help that they can get. Self employed people usually work 60 or more hours a week running their business including keeping their accounts and VAT records up to date. If you work 9 to 5 for 5 days a week - Then you are lucky.
The more suggestions that BT can get from users the better for all concerned.
Yes at 70 years old, I am OLD FASHIONED with old fashioned values which dont seem to matter these days. I try to keep uptodate and abrest of new technology and still design and develop my own websites.
So lets have some more topics from you all to encourage BT to help small businesses grow into bigger ones.
Regards James

James,
no one is asking what a small business is, HXC are a medium sized company but yet only have about 12 people on the payroll. there will be small businesses who employ more than 2-5 people. for example, my local newsagent, its a very small company, yet employs about 15 people.
a small company is just needing that particular niche, which i believe Vincent mentioned before, to allow it growth.

I'm with Vicki - and to be honest I'm missing Simon's informative blogs about the changing technology around business.
Guys who run this blog: Can we have a post this week that ISN'T about a BT product perhaps?
