Welcome to the blog

Having written about blogging and other tools for business for the last couple of years we've finally put our money where our mouth is and have launched our blog.
We've had quite a good readership of the articles on the homepage but the blog allows us to do more to help you make the most of your online business.
We'll write about what you can do through your BT internet connection to benefit your business. We'll mention our products only when they're relevant and show you how to make the most of those you've already bought, but it's not going to be one big sales pitch - we'll also write about things completely unrelated to BT that we think will be useful to your business.
You can leave comments on our articles to share your views. We'll have a look at your comment to make sure it's in line with our house rules and publish it as soon as we can.
We're planning to feature more news from our customers so you can hear what other businesses are doing to succeed, so if you've got tips on improving your business or a good story to tell we'd love to hear from you.
Commenting on the blog isn't the best route to get help with any problems you may have with your BT service. There is a range of help in the support area and if that can't answer your query you can contact us.
I hope you find this blog useful. If there are particular areas of being online you'd like us to cover, please leave us a comment.

Hi Dave. Thanks for the question, we'll post an article on setting up a blog in the next few days.
In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions for Dave, please leave a comment.
Martin - thanks for your feedback.
And Bill, yes we're here.

Hi Dave, you should try wordpress, open source blogging software that is easy to set up on your site and wont cost you a penny. If you need a hand to set this up on your site, get in touch. Always willing to help fellow martial artists.
By the way, we have always used Blitz for our martial arts gear, but I like your site and will give your store a try for our next order.

Firstly, good luck with your blog here, an excellent move and nice to see that it happening.
Secondly, in response to Dave, (and at the risk of a little self promotion) you will find a lot of the answers you are after at Better Business Blogging, which deals with using blogs for business use. There's also a free eCourse on the subject which may prove useful.
I look forward to reading the future posts here and could I make the suggestion that you look at making the RSS feed link more prominent, perhaps up in the sidebar?
All the best, Mark

Hi Mark, Thanks for the suggestion. I've dropped links to the Atom and RSS feeds into the sidebar.

Hi, will you be providing a free blog service for business to include catagories such as home cinema and home entertainment?
thanks

Hi Alan,
We aren't planning on writing our own blogs on specific subjects such as home cinema.
However, we are looking at blogging more widely and it would be good to know what you'd find useful in a blog service and how it could benefit your business.
Thanks
David

ComputerActive magazine had a workshop in their early July issue - no 218 - on setting up and hosting a WordPress blog on your own web space. We have no commercial links with the magazine but find it useful for keeping up to speed.
