Hi everyone...
My name's Simon Dickson, and I'm the newest member of the BT Business Broadband blogging team.
I've worked in the internet business for just over 12 years, producing and managing websites for some big-name organisations. I've written on technology issues for a few well-known websites, and I used to be a regular guest on the recently revived Sky News show 'Technofile'.
Although the word didn't exist back then, I started 'blogging' - or something very close to it - in late 1998.
Here at BT Broadband Office, I'll be blogging about the software and online services which will help you make the most of your computer and your business broadband connection - with a particular focus on freebies you can download and start using immediately.
I'll also be keeping an eye out for news and resources of interest to small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the latest cool gadgets. There might also be the occasional silly game or video clip for those moments when you need a break.
Blogs are all about two-way communication - so if you have any thoughts on what you're reading, or if there are any questions you'd like to throw at me, please use the comments facility at the bottom of each story.
