Get Free business administration tools from BT!

Posted 20 March 2008 at 8:01AM by Martin Faux in Announcements

Last year we launched BT Business Builder 2007, which is a comprehensive business software and services package for your legal and administrative responsibilities as a business and/or employer.

From the feedback we've had so far, we know that many of you are benefiting from this service. You've also been able to spend more time talking to your customers, rather than trying to keep up with the red tape!

The most popular features appear to be the regular email legal alerts - which provide news alerts to help you keep up-to-date with the law & best practice, the online bookkeeping, the business planner which helps you develop tailored business plans for your company and the HR advice that we're providing through the service.

Anyway, the reason I'm mentioning this service again, is because we've changed the Lite version, which now provides free basic access to the following:

  • Business Planning advice

  • Advice and support on how to employ staff

  • Health and Safety advice

  • Sales and Marketing

  • Payroll

  • Advice on managing your HR & Records

  • Bookkeeping: Unlimited use of up to 5 suppliers & 5 Customers only.
  • We've also introduced new pricing options for the premium version, which could save you as much as £180, if you take the service for 12 months.

If you want to find out more, then visit the BT Business Builder web site.

The 'Lite' version of this offer is well worth having - especially for the smaller SME.
I disagree with Stuart in an earlier comment on this subject - I think any service which helps the small business owner to become more efficient and apply some real planning into their operation, is to be welcomed, especially around the areas of Health & Safety and Employment Law. Although I tend to be an arch-critic of BT for its overpriced services (along with poor customer service), I think with this offering they're doing a good service.

Well spotted Derren. Hopefully it's now working fine.
