Are you a successful small business? Have you got a story to tell about how you have used technology to create a successful business? If so, you could be a winner in the second BT Business Essence of an Entrepreneur competition launched this week.
The competition, run in association with Growing Business Magazine, is open to privately owned UK based businesses with 75 or less employees. To enter, all you need to do is describe in 750 words why your business should win including details of how your business as done something unique or different in response to a changing world and how technology has or could play a part in your business.
A panel of successful entrepreneurs and industry experts will select twenty of the most impressive entrepreneurs who will each win a photo shoot with celebrity photographer Perou. The winner's photos will be featured in a high-profile exhibition at gallery@oxo on London's South Bank in November.
Having spoken to some of the winners last years exhibition launch, they were clearly delighted with their photographs which were also featured in national press, websites and BT publications. Alice Bowe of English Landscape and Garden Design has even been featured on our new BT buzz site to support our 'Do what you do best' campaign.
Perou, who has photographed many a celebrity from Coldplay and U2 to David Beckham and Damien Hirst, spent time with the winners to capture the real essence of their business. Bill Murphy, managing Director of BT Business, said: "As some of the images from last year's exhibition testify, Perou's work with the businesses will provide them with a striking visual identity, and us with an inspirational insight into their passion and commitment."
